Star Trek TOS

Watching Star Trek the Original Series in 2016 is very unsettling. There's something not right about seeing a futuristic show, where everyone has a 60s or 70s style look, box-shaped computers are the norm, and Captain Kirk has a flip phone. Technology did not evolve in tandem. To illustrate, it would be like ancient man watching an intercontinental ballistic spear being launched at his enemy. It's just a bit incongruous.
