After learning that the NFL had to be paid to support the troops, I lost all respect for the NFL and will not be watching the Super Bowl. I served for seven years and received an honorable discharge. During that time, I "volunteered" to support the NFL. Although I was treated with respect by the staff and players, I am sad to see that the interest was financial and not genuine. This is a venal act by the NFL that reveals their true nature: anti-American. They have to be paid by DoD in order to support the military.
So be it. Until the NFL pays me, I'm not supporting them.
